Go Get Those Goals

We’re barreling toward the close of Quarter 4 and the end of the year. That means the clock is ticking on those New Year’s resolutions you set back in January—yes, the ones about losing 20 pounds, launching a side project, or finally writing that book. Let’s pause and ask: where did those goals go, and why haven’t they been conquered yet?
Reflect on What Happened
Take a moment to honestly assess your progress so far.
What kept you from reaching your milestones?
You couldn’t carve out the time.
You lacked money or other resources.
A major life event threw you off course.
Procrastination took over.
Fear or self-doubt held you back.
Naming the barriers is the first step toward dismantling them.
Break Down Your Barriers
Once you know what stopped you, it’s time to remove the roadblocks. Here are five pointers to help you move toward greatness before December 31:
Reclaim Your Time
Even the busiest days have pockets of opportunity. Start a “stop to-do” list—tasks you pause or ditch for now. Shift your schedule by waking up an hour earlier or trimming social media scrolling. Small blocks of focused work add up.
Take the Ride with Someone
An accountability partner transforms motivation. Share your goals with someone who’ll check in, cheer you on, and hold you to your word. Two people bearing the load can turn a heavy lift into a powerful duet.
JUST DO IT
Fear often hides on the sidelines. Choose action over hesitation. I launched parts of my business this year in unfamiliar territory—made mistakes and even had a few flops. Yet each step forward created space for magic to happen.
Stop Procrastination
Productive procrastination—like tidying your desk—feels useful but doesn’t advance your big dream. Launch imperfect drafts, make rough cuts, start before you’re “ready.” Remember: perfection is the enemy of progress.
Every Little Bit Helps
An elephant is conquered one bite at a time. Commit to consistent micro-steps: read one chapter, do ten reps, write 200 words. Those small wins compound into real momentum.
Your Grand Finale Plan
What one or two actions will you double down on to move significantly closer to your goals before year’s end? Write them down, share them drstacey@drstaceyinspires.org , and let’s celebrate every victory together on January 1.

Go get it. Crush those goals. Make your Q4 the most victorious quarter of 2025 yet!
